A Garden Vlog: Creating a Beautiful Dahlia Arrangement and Harvesting Roma Tomatoes

The days are getting shorter, the nights are getting cooler and that means it’s time to start harvesting all the hard work we sowed in spring in preparation for winter's rest. Now is also a great time to reflect on the season. The chickens have still not laid their first eggs even though we are at 24 weeks which has me wondering what I’m doing wrong. Maybe I’m just being a little impatient? But, the bees have enjoyed the garden so much this year which fills my heart with joy.

In this episode, I’m trying my hand at floral design with this dahlia centerpiece, we are getting inspired by a recent family outing to the Morton Arboretum, and harvesting tomatoes while reflecting back on this season.

Enjoy!
